After the monumental worldwide success of Pushpa 2, which grossed more than $210 million and established Allu Arjun as a bona fide pan-India superstar, the award-winning actor is ready to star in a fresh new high-concept film. Arjun will team up with blockbuster helmer Atlee and top production house Sun Pictures for an ambitious, VFX-laden cinematic spectacle.
Produced with the backing of Sun Group’s Kalanithi Maran, the still-untitled film is set to go into production later this month. The reveal was decided in coordination with Arjun’s birthday on Tuesday, generating massive interest across the industry and beyond among fans globally.

Arjun and Atlee recently visited Los Angeles to approach leading special effects firms in a bid to come up with the film’s visionary team’s visual landscape. The film, still under wraps regarding the title and cast, is in the process of being marketed as a theatrical phenomenon that combines the masses and cutting-edge technology—taking a direct swipe at a world audience.
