Actor Vishnu Vishal and ex-badminton champion Jwala Gutta are enjoying the new arrival of their first child, a baby girl. The duo made the wonderful announcement on their fourth wedding anniversary, making the day all the more special.
Vishnu went on Instagram on Tuesday to confirm the arrival, sharing heartwarming hospital pictures. In one of them, Vishnu and Jwala lovingly cradle their newborn’s small hand. The other is of Vishnu’s son Aryan, from his previous marriage, beaming happily beside his baby sister. The couple, however, decided not to show the face of the baby.
Sharing his joy, Vishnu posted, “We are blessed with a BABY GIRL..Aryan is an elder brother now…It’s our 4th wedding anniversary today…On the same day, we welcome this gift from the Almighty…(heart eyes emoji). Need all your love and blessings….@jwalagutta1.”

Couple’s Love Story and Past Relationships
Vishnu Vishal and Jwala Gutta got married in a quiet ceremony in Hyderabad in 2021 after two years of courtship. Vishnu had already posted their wedding announcement on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “Happy birthday @Guttajwala New start to LIFE. Let’s be positive and work towards a better future for us, Aryan, our families, friends and people around. Need all your love n blessings guys. #newbeginning. #newbeginnings.” The two got engaged in September 2020 in a private ceremony.
This is Vishnu’s second marriage. He was once married to Rajini Natraj in 2010, and the two split in 2018. Jwala Gutta too had a previous marriage with fellow badminton player Chetan Anand, which ended in 2011.
Vishnu Vishal’s Journey from Cricket to Cinema
Before joining the film world, Vishnu was playing in the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) league. But a leg injury thwarted his dream to play cricket. He then turned to acting and impressed with movies such as Silukkuvarupatti Singam, Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran, and Ratsasan, the latter receiving critical acclaim.
