In his Instagram post, Gaurav Taneja responded to rumors about a potential divorce, stating that he will remain silent for the sake of his children and their mother. “I will remain quiet for my kids and the mother of my child. Ready to live with all the negativity and hate for my entire life. Please don’t expect any public explanation,” he wrote, adding that family matters should not be discussed on social media.

Ritu Rathee echoed her husband’s sentiment in a video released the day prior. In the video, Rathee criticized followers for speculating about their marriage, stating that outsiders have no real understanding of what goes on within their relationship. She requested fans to stop demonizing Taneja, particularly after a viral video showed her in tears during a satsang with spiritual leader Premanand Govind Sharan.
The couple’s plea for privacy did not sit well with many fans, who pointed out that Rathee and Taneja had built their careers by sharing intimate details of their lives online.
