Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan was admitted to KD Hospital in Ahmedabad at 2 PM due to dehydration caused by heatstroke. The hospital is under police protection.
“Actor Shah Rukh Khan admitted to hospital in Ahmedabad apparently due to heat stroke,” according to a police statement that PTI shared. According to sources, KKR actor Juhi Chawla and businessman Jay Mehta, together with his spouse Gauri Khan, paid him a visit in the hospital.
Yesterday, the IPL qualifier match between KKR and Sunrisers Hyderabad was held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The actor brought his kids, AbRam and Suhana, to the game. During the match, actors Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor were also there.

When KKR defeated SRH on Tuesday, the actor’s team led by Sachin seemed ecstatic. Shah Rukh ran a victory lap in the stadium with his family following the victory. A video circulating on the internet appeared to show SRK entering the frame of a post-match show that was being filmed on the field. Shah Rukh entered the picture and waved to his admirers while Suhana and AbRam realized they were about to enter the shot. However, he folded his hands and apologized as soon as he realized he had interrupted the show. Throughout this IPL season, Shah Rukh Khan has been there for his team.
