During a chat with Mashable India on October 28, 2024, the actor disclosed that the key to his physical fitness is not a strict diet or a rigorous exercise regime but a balanced and relaxed approach towards life.
When queried regarding how he keeps himself energetic and fit, Arshad replied, “I am not the fellow who is always gymming and exercising, and who is very rigid about his food. I eat anything, and I drink anything. I live life. I feel, I may be wrong, but I take minimum stress, and I think that is very important and has worked for me. I avoid stress and don’t bother about things that are not in my hands… ignorance is bliss.”
Rather than adhering to the strict fitness regimes most celebrities follow, Arshad prefers to live life to the fullest while keeping his mind healthy. His philosophy is straightforward—avoid stress, live life, and forget what you cannot control.
When Arshad Tried a Strict Regimen
Interestingly, the actor did have a time when he followed a strict fitness regimen. In 2020, Arshad posted his weight loss experience on social media, sharing how he lost 6 kg in one month with rigorous discipline.
On May 17, 2020, he posted a tweet: “Was on a very strict diet for one month. Zero Carbs, Intermittent, Cardio & weight training, knock off 6 kgs in 30 days, got 4 more to go. This morning I had carbs, AND OMG IT’S THE BEST THING IN THE WORLD. Now I have to find another way to get fit.”
Although he was seeing results with that regime, Arshad appears to have now discovered a more long-term and pleasant means of keeping himself healthy.
