The Haryana government has integrated the Mukhya Mantri Matritav Sahayta Scheme into the Right to Services Act, 2014, ensuring that the scheme is now governed by its regulations. This initiative, implemented by the Department of Women and Child Development, mandates a 45-day time limit for the disbursement of benefits to eligible recipients. The directive for this integration has been issued by Chief Secretary T.V.S.N. Prasad, highlighting the government’s commitment to efficient service delivery.
Under this scheme, specific roles have been assigned to various officials to streamline the process and address grievances effectively. The District Program Officer has been appointed as the designated officer responsible for overseeing the implementation of the scheme at the district level. In case of any grievances, beneficiaries can first approach the Program Officer (Nutrition) or the Deputy Director, who have been designated as the First Grievance Redressal Officers. If the issue remains unresolved, the matter can be escalated to the Joint Director or the Additional Director, who serve as the Second Grievance Redressal Officers.
This structured approach aims to enhance transparency, accountability, and responsiveness in the delivery of benefits under the Mukhya Mantri Matritav Sahayta Scheme, ensuring that the intended beneficiaries receive timely support and assistance.
