Malaika’s mother, Joyce Polycarp, also attended, dressed in a saree, and Arjun was spotted wearing a white shirt and jeans. Sussanne Khan, ex-wife of Hrithik Roshan, was also present.

Anil Mehta passed away on September 11 after reportedly jumping from the terrace of his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. Malaika’s former husband, Arbaaz Khan, was the first to arrive at her parents’ home, followed by other family members including Salim Khan, Salma Khan, Helen, Alvira, Arpita, Sohail Khan, and Salman Khan.
In an official statement on Instagram, Malaika expressed the family’s deep shock at their loss, stating, “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock by this loss and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult time. We appreciate your understanding, support and respect. With gratitude, Joyce, Malaika, Amrita Shakeel, Arhaan, Azaan, Rayyan, Casper, Axl, Duffy and Buddy.”
