The excitement for “The Buckingham Murders” has surged with the unveiling of its latest poster. This suspense thriller, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, promises to keep viewers on edge. To celebrate Raksha Bandhan, Kareena revealed the new poster and announced the teaser’s release date. In the striking image, she is seen with her back turned, wandering through an empty neighborhood, adding an element of mystery that perfectly captures the film’s thrilling essence.
Accompanying the poster, Kareena teased, “See you tomorrow,” with the teaser set to drop on August 20. The film, written by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker, is produced by Balaji Telefilms and TBM Films, alongside Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan herself, marking her debut as a producer.
According to Variety, the film centers on Jasmeet Bhamra (played by Kareena), a detective and mother who, after losing her own child, is tasked with investigating the murder of a 10-year-old in Buckinghamshire. As she delves deeper, she uncovers a web of secrets that make nearly everyone in the town a suspect.
Kareena has mentioned that her role draws inspiration from Kate Winslet’s character in “Mare of Easttown,” reflecting her enthusiasm for the project. The film is set to hit theaters on September 13, 2024, and features a stellar cast including Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen. Additionally, Kareena will star in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming film “Daayra.”
