Minister-in-charge Gautam Dak recently confirmed the start of the Greenfield Airport project, following discussions held after a comprehensive review meeting. He emphasized that the state budget aims to benefit sectors like youth, rural communities, and farmers. A key initiative is the plan to create jobs for four lakh people over five years, which is already underway.

Regarding infrastructure developments, Dak provided updates on the progress of the Greenfield Airport, detailing ongoing preparations and assurances to address any concerns raised. He also mentioned plans for potential utilization of the existing airport for small aircraft operations until the new facility is fully operational.

Furthermore, Dak addressed local development initiatives such as the establishment of a modern bus port and the prospective merger of two municipal corporations in Kota.
He reassured the public about administrative matters concerning the South Municipal Corporation and outlined steps towards enhancing its operational efficiency. Discussions also encompassed strategic measures to bolster the financial capabilities of the Kota Development Authority (KDA), including potential land mortgage initiatives aimed at improving financial stability.

Additionally, Minister Dak highlighted specific projects earmarked for Kota under the state budget, including the expansion of the Bhamashah Krishi Upaj Mandi, infrastructure enhancements at key temples, and various road and culvert construction projects aimed at improving connectivity and urban infrastructure. He reiterated the government’s commitment to completing these initiatives within its current term, underscoring their importance for the region’s overall development trajectory.
