Following singer Diljit Dosanjh’s concert on Sunday in Jaipur, a total of 32 FIRs have been registered in connection with stolen mobile phones, according to local police. The concert, part of Dosanjh’s ‘Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024,’ was held at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC) in Sitapura, attracting a large crowd of enthusiastic fans. Station House Officer (SHO) Nandlal confirmed that the complaints were filed at the Sanganer Sadar Police Station over the next two days, with efforts underway to track the missing devices.

In response to the thefts, some fans took to social media, creating a video to appeal directly to the singer for assistance. The unexpected theft incidents have added a somber note to the otherwise successful concert, as authorities continue their investigation into the stolen devices.

Diljit Dosanjh Apologizes to Fans Affected by Ticket Fraud

During his ‘Dil-Luminati Tour’ stop in Jaipur on Sunday, singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh addressed an unfortunate issue of alleged ticket scams that impacted some of his fans. Speaking to the packed crowd at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre, Dosanjh expressed sincere apologies to anyone affected, emphasizing that his team was not connected to the fraud. “If anyone fell victim to ticketing scams, I am truly sorry,” he stated, urging fans to avoid unauthorized sellers and stay vigilant. He added that ticket demand had been so overwhelming that even his team was surprised by the speed at which they sold out.

Prior to the event, Jaipur Police had issued a public advisory to prevent ticket fraud. Through their official X account, they warned fans of fake tickets, cautioning that only tickets purchased through Zomato Live and Scope Entertainment would be valid for entry. The post read, “SCAM ALERT!! Beware of fake tickets! Entry will not be granted with counterfeit tickets.”
