A woman CISF constable posted at Chandigarh Airport Kulwinder Kaur, has recently slapped Bollywood actor and Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi Kangana Ranaut on Thursday.
The former, who was evidently displeased with Kangana Ranaut’s position on the farmers’ protests, has been suspended, and FIR has been filed against her.
Further, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), has also called for court of inquiry into the matter.
Taking to X, Mandi MP announced, she was safe and fine after reaching Delhi airport.

Meanwhile, as per available information, Kaur became a part of the CISF in 2009, and since 2021, she is with force’s aviation security group at Chandigarh airport.
This 35-year-old woman belongs to Punjab’s Sultanpur Lodhi and has been with union territory airport for two years.
Her spouse also works as a CISF personnel and has two children. Meanwhile her brother Sher Singh works as a famer leader and organization secretary of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee.
As revealed by officials, she has no punishment or vigilance inquiry in her name till now. Her husband too, works in the same airport.
While recounting the incident, ranaut revealed, she has been receiving a lot of calls from both media people and her well-wishers.
She also alleged, that the constable suddenly came at her side, and hit her in the face, then started abusing her. When asked about her action, she revealed, that she supports farmer protests.
Talking about this incident, Kangana alleged that terrorism is rising in Punjab and questioned, how it will be dealt?
‘I am safe, but my concern is that terrorism is increasing in Punjab… How do we handle that? said ranaut in her video.
Meanwhile, Kaur speaking in the aftermath of the incident, alleged, that Kangana said, that farmers were protesting in Delhi, because they were given ₹100 or ₹200, and she also emotionally recalled, that her mother was one of the protestors.
