Where Is Barron Trump Heading To College This Fall? Here’s What We Know So Far

Barron Trump, the only son of Donald and Melania Trump, is set to start university in a few days, though his parents have been discreet about which college he will be attending. Barron himself has maintained a low profile recently, notably being the only Trump family member absent from the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in July.

While Donald Trump announced on July 9, 2024, that Barron would be attending college after completing his schooling, he did not disclose which institution his son chose. At a rally in Florida, Trump stated, “He’s now going to college, got into every college he wanted to. He made his choice and he is a very good guy.” Although the specific university remains a mystery, it’s speculated that Barron might follow in the footsteps of his older half-siblings, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, and Tiffany Trump, who attended either the University of Pennsylvania or Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

According to the University of Pennsylvania’s academic calendar, the fall semester for 2024 began on Monday, August 19, with classes starting on August 27. Georgetown University’s fall semester will welcome new undergraduates on August 22 and 23, with classes commencing on August 28, as reported by The Palm Beach Post.

There were also rumors in April suggesting that Barron might attend New York University (NYU), which is near Trump Tower in Manhattan. Barron spent much of his childhood in Manhattan before moving to the White House when his father was elected the 45th president of the United States. The Trump family later relocated to Florida. At NYU, living on campus is optional, but “first-year residents of Manhattan-based schools are assigned to Manhattan residence halls only. There are no exceptions,” according to the university’s website. NYU’s fall semester is scheduled to begin on September 3.
