Hwang Dong-hyuk’s letter to fans reads, “The real game begins. It’s been almost three years since Season 1 was released, and so much has happened. I’m excited to announce the date for Season 2 and the news of Season 3, the final season. Starting to shoot Season 2 felt surreal, and I’m eager to see how you all will react after three years. Seong Gi-hun, who sought revenge at the end of Season 1, returns to the game. Will he succeed this time? The clash between him and the Frontman will continue into the final season. We’re thrilled to bring you more excitement and hope you’re as eager as we are. Thank you for your support, and see you soon!”
