In a frightening incident, two Pitbull dogs attacked a food delivery man in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The incident occurred on a Friday in Anupam Nagar, within the Khamardih police station area. Salman Khan, the delivery man, was entering a doctor’s house to make a delivery when the two Pitbulls attacked him.

A footage of the incident showed Salman getting bitten by the dogs and writhing in pain as he attempted to flee. Unfortunately, no one immediately came to his rescue. Eventually, he made it outside and hopped atop a parked car to rescue himself. After the dogs went, Salman was shown crying for aid, his hands and legs soaked in blood, before being given a water bottle. The video later went viral sparking outrage amongst people.

Local ward Councillor Amitesh Bhardwaj stated, “A woman named Sandhya Rao lives here, she is a doctor by profession. Dr. Sandhya Rao has kept 3 dogs in her house. Out of the three dogs, two are of the pitbull breed and one is of another breed. On Friday, the delivery boy came in an auto to drop wallpaper at Sandhya Rao’s house. As soon as he reached the door to go inside the house, he was attacked by 2 pitbull dogs. The dogs have badly bitten the delivery boy on his hands and legs.”

Reports indicate that neighbors rushed Salman to the hospital after the attack. Speaking to local media, Salman remarked that someone else might not have survived the ordeal. He also mentioned that Dr. Rao blamed him for entering without calling first and said he shouldn’t have gone in.

On Monday morning, following Salman’s complaint, a municipal corporation team arrived at Dr. Akshat Rao’s house to capture the pit bulls but left empty-handed.
