Throughout the meeting, Harris frequently glanced down, seemingly referencing notes or scripts, while Biden attended from the White House, and Harris joined virtually.
Hurricane Milton has intensified to Category 5 strength several times in the past two days, ultimately making landfall as a Category 3 storm Wednesday night in the Siesta Key area of Tampa, Florida.
