Continuing their yearly tradition, the Ambani family welcomed the idol of Lord Ganesh at their iconic home, Antilia, for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. This annual event is a major highlight for the family, who are known to host lavish festivals that attract attention from devotees and celebrities alike.

On Friday evening, Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, was spotted with his family as they prepared to receive the idol of Ganesh, affectionately named “Antilia cha Raja” by fans. His daughter, Isha Ambani, was also present, carrying one of her twins during the celebrations.

Mukesh Ambani’s younger son, Anant Ambani, and his wife, Radhika Merchant, were also at the forefront of the event, performing the welcoming ceremony. They led the family in chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya,” setting the tone for the 10-day festival. The Ambani family’s devotion was evident as they continued this age-old tradition with the same enthusiasm as always.

A Generous Offering for Lalbaugcha Raja

In a remarkable gesture, the Ambani family’s Reliance Foundation gifted a 20-kg gold crown, valued at ₹15 crore, to the famous Lalbaugcha Raja Ganesh idol in Mumbai. The offering has been widely appreciated and adds to the grandeur of the celebrations.

Mumbai Gears Up for Ganesh Chaturthi

As Mumbai prepares for its biggest festival of the year, security measures have been heightened, with 15,000 police personnel being deployed across the city. From the wealthiest to the poorest, people from all walks of life are ready to celebrate the 10-day festival with great fervor.

Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who are expecting their first child, also participated in the celebrations, visiting Siddhivinayak Temple on Friday to seek blessings ahead of the festival.
