Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, along with Union Ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, Kiren Rijiju, and Mansukh Mandaviya, flagged off a bike rally on Tuesday under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign from Bharat Mandapam in the national capital. The rally will conclude at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium.
Vice President Dhankhar emphasized that ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ symbolizes India’s independence, pride, and commitment to a developed nation. He remarked, “This is a significant day for us. ‘Har Ghar Tiranga,’ part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,’ began in 2021 to encourage people to display the national flag at their homes on Independence Day. It has since grown into a nationwide movement, with millions now participating. This campaign represents our independence, pride, and dedication to a prosperous India. It signifies that this century belongs to India. A few years ago, our economy was a global concern, but today, we are on track to become the third global superpower, currently ranking fifth.”
Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat noted that the Tiranga unites the nation as one, stating, “The Tiranga is the pride of our country, bringing us together as one. We have resolved to continually enhance our nation’s pride.”
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju highlighted the campaign’s goal to strengthen the country, saying, “By fostering the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement across the nation, people from all corners are participating. This movement, which has become a national campaign, is aimed at strengthening our country.”
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign nationwide, urging citizens to hoist the tricolor at every home, shop, and office. In his 112th ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on July 28, Prime Minister Modi called on all Indians to join the campaign in celebration of Independence Day.
The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, initiated in 2021 to encourage people to display the national flag in honor of India’s 75th year of independence. The campaign aims to instill patriotism in the hearts of the people and promote awareness of the Indian National Flag.
