After releasing the patriotic anthem ‘Badhte Chalo,’ the makers of ‘Sam Bahadur,’ starring Vicky Kaushal, have released the film’s second track, titled ‘Banda.’ Vicky posted the song video on Instagram, calling it “a force of strength, a great soldier in every sense.” Sab ka banda hai! Rab ka banda hai! “A new #Banda song is now available!”

The music video encapsulates early training days, personal moments with Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw’s wife, Silloo Manekshaw, and interactions with former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Composed by the Shankar Ehsaan Loy trio, with lyrics by Gulzar, the song is sung by Shankar Mahadevan.

Recently, the film unveiled its first song, ‘Badhte Chalo,’ which, composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and penned by Gulzar, emanates a deep sense of patriotism. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, ‘Sam Bahadur’ features Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra, and Fatima Sana Shaikh in lead roles. Vicky portrays the role of India’s war hero and first Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw.

The film’s trailer, unveiled by Vicky, showcased the actor in a fierce avatar. The movie delves into the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, spanning over four decades and five wars. Sam Manekshaw played a pivotal role in India’s victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war, leading to the creation of Bangladesh.

‘Sam Bahadur’ is slated to hit theatres on December 1, setting the stage for a major Bollywood clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Animal.’ The movie marks Vicky Kaushal’s second collaboration with Meghna Gulzar after the critically acclaimed ‘Raazi.’
