Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal welcomed a baby girl on June 3rd. They had announced the happy news on social media, though they kept the name covered till now. The names of the girl which they chose were Lara, says Varun about the same in the latest episode of Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati. Expressing his elation, Varun replied, “We named her Lara. I am still getting used to bonding with her; as you said, everything changes when a baby comes home,” in reply to the Bachchan remark that Diwali becomes special with Goddess Lakshmi’s arrival.
Varun asked Amitabh if his children ever kept him awake at night. The actor laughed and said, “It was a relief to have [a machine] that kept us assured, because it would alert them to even the slightest noise from the baby.”.

A cute and funny video was released from the couple where their pet dog Joey is holding a board saying “Welcome lil sis.” Varun wrote on the caption, “Our baby girl is here. Varun and Natasha got hitched on 24 January after dating long. Recounting his association with Natasha in one of the past interviews, while speaking at Kareena Kapoor, “The first time I ever met Natasha was in my sixth standard. We became friends until we were around eleventh or twelfth standards. I still remember this. Seeing her and after seeing her that day and feeling I have fallen love with her,” said the actor. They declared in February about the pregnancy end.
