Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gwalior and launch development projects totaling Rs 19,000 crores related to various sectors in the state, according to Union Minister for Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia. On Monday, PM Modi will travel to Madhya Pradesh, which is slated to hold elections, and he will lay the cornerstone for a number of development projects there.
Union Minister Scindia said, “Today PM Modi will come to Gwalior. He will launch development projects worth Rs 19,000 crores related to various sectors in the state. Under PM Awas Yojana, the Griha Pravesh of 2.21 lakh houses will be done.”
Similarly, for irrigation and for Nal Jal Yojana projects, PM Modi will dedicate development work of Rs 300 for Dabra Bhitarwar region and around Rs 800 crores for Sheopur. Nine new health centres would be launched worth Rs 300 crores, he added.
“New Industrial zones would be launched in Indore and Ujjain. Most importantly, A MEMU (Mainline Electric Multiple Unit) train would be launched between Gwalior and Sumavali. The PM will inaugurate the National Institute for Divyangs and a sports stadium,” Scinda added.
