Existence exists beyond the comprehension of the human mind. Life happens because existence exists. You are life. You are existence because existence is living in you. You exist in existence as existence.
On this earth everything that is here is eternal. Everything happens in the eternity of existence. Existence is eternity. Mind is composed of our senses. Our senses are composed of our desires, insecurities, fears and pleasure. Therefore, mind does not comprehend the eternal element of life. Fear of losing everything runs deep in our minds. In fact, life is eternal, the earth is eternal and the universe is eternal. You are eternal but mind is fearful and therefore everything is momentary for you.
There are two ways to look at life. One calls life momentary and the other calls it eternal. Both are two dimensions to look at life.
Mind is momentary. Mind is fragmented. It behaves fragmentarily. Mind perceives things in fragments because mind is artificiality. Therefore to be it divides things into fragments so that it understands fragments as a chain of fragmented thoughts. That is the dilemma of the mind.
To understand time, mind has divided it into past and future. What mind calls present is between past and future and becomes part of time. Mind divides past-present-future. Mind divides eternity into past present and future and it makes the present moment part of that division. That which it has experienced is already part of mind’s memory and that it has not lived but imagined as the future which is also part of its memory. Perception of the past and future is experienced by accessing mind’s memory.
You are here and now. Your experiences are not here. Your experiences are coded in your memory. To call them back and forth you recall experiences from memory in the now-ness. That now-ness you call it past. That now-ness that you live now is what you call this moment. So mind makes the present moment part of the chain of time.
Nothing is part of the chain of time. But it is the mind’s way to understand things by dividing or to understand time. Mind is made of comprehension and comprehension alone is stored in the mind.
In fact, existence is eternal because we live in the eternity of existence. We have not lived yesterday. We will not live tomorrow. We simply live in the now-ness of being. And this now-ness simply makes us live. This now-ness that the mind calls present moment is not part of the time. This now-ness is eternal and is part of eternity. A chronological clock may show dates and numbers and a psychological clock believes them. But life is not part of the chain of time.
Everything is eternal in this universe. You cannot destroy a blade of grass or a grain of sand. You cannot destroy a drop of water. Science says that nothing is destructible. It is the greatest undiscovered mystery. Things get changed reshaped but do not get destroyed. Everything is changing into something else. No cause of destruction. Things are changing constantly. New shapes and forms are reshaped restructured and transformed.
When we say someone dies that one does not die absolutely. The form would get transformed. Mind fears that everything dies. In fact, the mind dies. Mind alone dies. Nothing else dies. Mind is the ego and ego has to die. If elements on earth would die, there was no cause for the earth and the universe to be. If a drop of water or grain of sand would die, then for a countless number of years this earth would continue to be dying and would have been dead.
Together among all its things this earth is one single organic entity that exists as oneness. Because of its oneness, we don’t see things apart but come together to be one. And they change shapes into each other and enter new shapes. If things would just be dying and wouldn’t change into cordial conducive and catalytic shapes, things would have long disappeared. There was no cause for the earth to be. But things are and the earth exists as beautiful and pulsating rhythmically as ever.
Things are changing. You are also changing. Your cells are dying and born again. Old cells are giving way to the new cells to be born. And you are embodied in the body seated in the internal core of your body catalysing its combustion engine. That is another thing that instead of being in the now-ness of your being, you live in your mind that is an altered life of your shadow. That which is eternal consciousness is that which is existence. Being that is seated in you that is also seated in every grain of sand in the eternity of existence.
This consciousness is your intelligence. This consciousness is eternal. Eternity means that what does not die. Body forms change. But consciousness is not part of the elements of this earth. It ought to have been made of other elements that are eternal and don’t change. The form that is bound by the law of change changes. The form that is not part of the law of change does not change.
Eternity is inside you. You are eternal because existence is eternal. And you are part of existence. In fact, you are existence yourself. But your body has a limit so it changes. Your eternity enters your new body. Your capacity enters a new body. That does not change.
Therefore Hindus say ‘Kan Kan mein Bhagwan’ (That eternity which is God is seated in everything every small grain).
If that which is not embodied in every particle then things that you see around may not stand. And this earth would have long become dust. Particles are not dead. Science says that an atom is composed of protons and neutrons while electrons keep surrounding them in its orbit. That eternity is seated right inside every grain of sand. If that is not there this sun, moon and earth would not have been there.
Things change, they keep changing and taking new shapes and does not remain unchanged. If things would not change it would also be destroyable. Things change therefore there is no cause for its destruction. This earth is evolved because things change.
Therefore change is for good. If you are ready to change, you cannot be destroyed. That is eternity. Life is eternal. That which is adamant will be destroyed. A tree withstands blows of storms because it bows to the currents of the winds. If it didn’t it would have been uprooted.
One’s ego is adamant. Therefore war-mongering goes on in the world. The world has everything and there is no cause for wars. But war-mongering ego wants to prove something in the guise of beautiful words pride, self-esteem, audacity and invents wars.
Let’s learn from water. Water is malleable. Water is soft. And rocks are solid. But water turns all those rocks into sand.
All sand on earth were rocks changed by the softness of water. Your ego may get you uprooted or you may understand that living within the law of your mind is living within a fragmented illusion. You are born eternal. That which does not change among the change is you. Meet that changeless unchanged.
