Initial reports mentioned that the 20-year-old had searched for a member of the royal family without disclosing their identity. It has now been revealed that Crooks, dubbed ‘Trump’s would-be assassin,’ downloaded a picture of Kate Middleton, the future queen, who is currently battling cancer.

On Sunday, the Republican presidential nominee narrowly escaped a life-threatening bullet during his Pennsylvania rally. Although the bullet missed its mark, the incident raised alarms.
Initially, the agency did not reveal the identity of the royal family member, leading to speculation that it might be either Harry or Meghan, the estranged royals residing in California. However, NPR disclosed Kate’s name during a phone conversation with politicians about the attack, as reported by the Mirror.
Kate Middleto nstood out as the sole non-American on the list, which also included several notable figures. Crooks allegedly fired approximately eight rounds before being killed by the Secret Service at the Trump rally.

It has also been revealed that Kate Middleton was not the only individual researched by Crooks. Reports indicate that the shooter also had FBI Director Christopher Wray and U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland on his list.
