Trump posted on social media that he had considered delaying his trip by two days, but decided against it, stating, “I cannot allow a ‘shooter,’ or potential assassin, to force change to scheduling, or anything else.”

While she has hosted Republican fundraisers over the past year, this will be her first major appearance of the current election cycle.
