A TikToker, known as @kaybeecees, has sparked controversy with her advice to American women after Donald Trump’s victory, urging them to take drastic steps for their safety and reproductive rights. In a viral video titled ‘Women – take these steps,’ she advised women to leave their husbands if they voted for Trump, claiming that they are “in danger.” She said, “If he voted for that man, you need to leave him. You need to leave him.” She further added, “I know you love him, I know you think he can change…but especially if you are married to him, you are in danger right now. You are in a lot of danger.”
The TikToker, who previously mentioned living in rural Alabama, emphasized that her advice was just her personal opinion but believed it was necessary to protect women under Trump’s presidency. She also warned women against getting pregnant and advised deleting period-tracking apps due to concerns about the potential criminalization of women for abortions or miscarriages, referencing the 2022 Dobbs decision and six-week abortion bans in several states.
She also recommended women take self-defense classes or carry a weapon to protect themselves, saying, “You don’t get [raped].” In a follow-up video, she clarified that she was not trying to panic anyone, stating, “I’m just being very real, we are having a heart-to-heart right now. I need you to hear me.” She reassured viewers, saying, “I know it’s gonna be OK … because we’re going to make sure it’s gonna be OK.”
In response to questions from viewers, @kaybeecees expressed concerns about the societal impact of Trump’s presidency, stating, “The worst men among us have now been emboldened.” She warned, “You can absolutely expect [rape] and [domestic violence] to increase nationwide” under Trump’s leadership.
