Three Siblings Including Toddler In UP Run Away After Mother’s Scolding Over Studies

Three siblings from UP, aged three, six, and fourteen, were found safe in Delhi after running away from home following a scolding by their mother. The children, hailing from Maharajganj district, sparked a frantic search and rescue operation by local authorities.

According to officials, the young trio fled their home in Gujrauliya, Maharajganj, upset over being reprimanded for neglecting their studies. They managed to reach Delhi and sought assistance from a passerby, who helped them contact a young man from their village.

Upon receiving a complaint from the worried family, Superintendent of Police Somendra Meena swiftly deployed police and SWAT teams. The eldest sister used a borrowed phone to seek aid, which enabled the police to track their whereabouts efficiently.

The UP Police, in collaboration with authorities in Delhi, located the children in the Najafgarh area. Their safe recovery within four days of their disappearance was attributed to the coordinated efforts of law enforcement teams.

Recognizing the exemplary work of the recovery team, Superintendent Meena commended their dedication and awarded them Rs 20,000 for their quick action and successful resolution of the case.

Confirming the children’s safe return, Superintendent Meena highlighted the collaborative efforts that led to reuniting them with their family. The incident underscores the challenges and swift response required in handling cases involving vulnerable minors.

This heartening conclusion marks the end of a brief but tense episode, emphasizing the importance of timely intervention and community support in ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
