This victory ended India’s quest for an ICC title since they last won the Champions Trophy in 2013 under MS Dhoni’s captaincy. After last year’s tragic defeat in the final of the 2023 ODI World Cup, this victory becomes even more significant for the ‘Men in Blue’.
