A video of a Swiggy delivery agent allegedly stealing a pair of shoes from outside a flat in Noida’s Sector 73 has gone viral, sparking widespread reactions online. The entire theft was captured by a CCTV camera installed in the building.
According to reports, the delivery executive had entered the housing society to deliver food. While walking down the stairs, he spotted a pair of shoes on a rack outside one of the flats. Without hesitation, he placed the shoes in his bag and left the scene.

The video, which has been circulating on social media, shows the Swiggy agent wearing a helmet while descending the stairs. He pauses momentarily at the shoe rack, discreetly grabs a pair of shoes, and then walks away as if nothing had happened.
Residents of the flat noticed their shoes were missing and promptly checked the CCTV footage. The video revealed the delivery agent’s actions, confirming that he had stolen the shoes. The 19-second clip has since gained traction on various platforms, with over 50,000 views.
The Uttar Pradesh Police have reportedly initiated an inquiry into the matter following the viral spread of the video. Local authorities are searching for the individual involved.
The viral video has prompted a mixed response from social media users. While some have expressed sympathy for the delivery agent, speculating that he may have stolen the shoes out of necessity, others were outraged and called for action against him.
One user commented, “They come from poor families and often don’t have proper shoes. I’ve seen this before and even given my milkman a pair of shoes. We need to help them.” Another expressed concern, writing, “Because of one person, others will now face suspicion.”
