Notably, the Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar constituency witnessed the highest margin, with incumbent MP Ajay Bhatt securing a staggering 3.3 lakh votes lead over his nearest rival, Congress candidate Prakash Joshi. Bhatt’s landslide victory mirrored his previous win in the 2019 elections, where he defeated Congress leader Harish Rawat by a margin of 3.4 lakh votes.
Former chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, contesting as a BJP candidate, clinched the Haridwar Lok Sabha seat by defeating Virendra Rawat of Congress by a significant margin of 164,056 votes. Meanwhile, Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah, also representing the BJP, secured her fourth consecutive win from the Tehri constituency, defeating Congress candidate Jot Singh Gunsola by a remarkable 2.7 lakh votes.
