With a sample size of 444 participants, 71% believe Hindu festivals have been consistently targeted in recent times, while 82% suspect a premeditated conspiracy behind these attacks.
Respondents attribute the motive behind these actions to spreading social unrest (59%) and inciting religious sentiments (38%). The survey also reveals that 42% of those involved in stone pelting are reportedly incited through religious influence or financial incentives.
A significant majority, 67%, call for strict legal action against those conspiring to create unrest, indicating strong public sentiment for decisive measures.
