Superstar Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated film, “Vettaiyan,” directed by TJ Gnanavel, is set to premiere in theaters on October 10, 2024. The announcement came from Lyca Productions on Monday via their official Instagram account, where they also revealed a new poster featuring Rajinikanth. The post excitedly declared, “Target locked! VETTAIYAN is set to hit cinemas worldwide from October 10th, 2024! Superstar as Supercop! Releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada!”

Earlier this month, to celebrate Fahadh Faasil’s birthday, the filmmakers shared a special behind-the-scenes photo on their X account, featuring Fahadh alongside Indian cinema icons Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan. Lyca Productions also released the first-look image of Fahadh from “Vettaiyan,” wishing him a happy birthday and praising his artistry and dedication.
“Vettaiyan” will be Rajinikanth’s 170th film. The production company previously revealed the film’s title teaser on Rajinikanth’s 73rd birthday. The movie boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, and Dushara Vijayan. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the film’s music.
