This case also implicates former minister Jatinder Singh, also known as Babu Singh.

The case, initially registered as FIR No. 73/2022, was taken over by SIA on April 19, 2022, following the arrest of Mohd. Shareef Shah with a significant amount of narco-terror cash. The allegations stated that they were operating under ISI’s direction and their agents in Pakistan to finance Jammu-based separatists for subversive activities against India’s sovereignty, integrity, and security.

Among those charged are Mohd Shareef Shah, Jatinder Singh (Babu Singh), Mohd Hussain Khateeb, Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, Kifayat Rizvi, Mubashir Mushtaq Fafoo, Mohd Rafiq Najar, Aijaz Ahmad Sayam, Farooq Ahmad Naikoo, Mohd Arshad, Syed Ashiq Elahi, Tariq Ahmad Malla, Mohd Sharief Chechi, Farooq Ahmad Jungal, Saif Din, Javid Chalkoo, Hamidullah Khuroo, and Farooq Ahmad Shawl.

Twelve of these accused were arrested by SIA, while six remain at large in Pakistan and have been declared proclaimed offenders by the Hon’ble court.
