The threatening message warned that if the payment was not made, “Salman Khan’s condition will be worse than Baba Siddique,” referring to the recent murder of the former Nationalist Congress Party leader.
According to reports, the sender stated, “Don’t take it lightly; if Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, he will have to pay ₹5 crore.” The chilling message raised alarms, given the context of the ongoing gang rivalries in Mumbai.

Authorities have since traced the sender’s location to Jharkhand and are continuing their investigation into the matter.
The death threat comes in the wake of the murder of Baba Siddique, who was shot dead on October 12 outside his son’s office in Mumbai. Following the murder, a person claiming affiliation with Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang took responsibility, warning that anyone close to Salman Khan would face a similar fate.
