The Samajwadi Party has designated election in-charges for six Assembly by-poll seats, signaling its intent to field its own candidates in these constituencies. Shivpal Singh Yadav, the National General Secretary of the party, has been appointed as the in-charge for the Kathari Assembly in Ambedkar Nagar. Awadhesh Prasad and Lal Bihari Yadav have been given responsibility for the Milkipur seat in Ayodhya. MP Virendra Singh will oversee the Majhawan Assembly in Mirzapur, while Chandradev Yadav, Indrajit Saroj, and Rajendra Kumar have been appointed in-charges for the Karhal Assembly in Mainpuri, Phulpur, and Seemamau, respectively.
This announcement, based on the list released by the Samajwadi Party, clearly indicates that the party plans to contest six out of the ten upcoming by-poll seats. Out of these ten Assembly seats, five were previously held by the Samajwadi Party, three by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and one each by the Rashtriya Lok Dal and Nishad Party, both of which are allied with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
By appointing experienced leaders to these key roles, the Samajwadi Party is preparing strategically for the upcoming by-polls, aiming to secure a significant number of victories in these crucial seats.
