Salman Khan Skips Baba Siddique’s Funeral: Family in Shock Over Close Friend’s Murder

Salim Khan is reeling from the sudden passing of Baba Siddique, a close friend of the Khan family. Both Salman Khan and his family were absent from Siddique’s namaaz-e-janaaza, the prayer conducted before the burial of the deceased.

Baba Siddique played a crucial role in assisting Salman Khan and his family with property matters, handling many of their affairs.

About Baba Siddique’s Murder Case

Siddique, a three-time MLA from Bandra West, was tragically gunned down on Saturday night, shot multiple times near his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra East. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has previously threatened Salman Khan, has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Shortly after the shooting, a Facebook profile named Shubbu Lonkar Maharashtra posted in Hindi, stating, “Salman Khan, we never wanted this war, but you harmed our brother. Whether it’s under Baba Siddique’s protection or an act involving Dawood during that time, the goal was to connect Anuj Thapan and Dawood with Bollywood, politics, and property dealings upon his death. We hold no enmity with anyone, but whoever assists Salman Khan and Dawood’s gang will need to keep their accounts clear. If any harm comes to our brother, we will respond, though we never strike first. Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat. Salute to the martyrs. #LawrenceBishnoiGroup #AnmolBishnoi #AnkitBhaduSherewala.”

The attack was carried out by three gunmen, one of whom, Gurmel Singh, hails from Narad village in Haryana’s Kaithal district. The other two attackers are from Bahraich district in Uttar Pradesh. Gurmel and one accomplice, Dharmaraj, have been arrested, while the third, Shivkumar, remains at large. Additionally, links to the murder have surfaced in Jalandhar, with reports suggesting that a fourth suspect, Mohammad Zeeshan Akhtar from Shakar village in Nakodar, Punjab, was also involved.
