Rosanna Pansino ‘Smokes Cannabis’ Grown From Her ‘Father’s Ashes’ Goes Viral | WATCH

Popular YouTuber Rosanna Pansino, known for her quirky content and culinary skills, recently stirred controversy after revealing an unconventional way of honoring her late father’s dying wish. In the debut episode of her podcast Rodiculous, Pansino smoked cannabis grown using soil infused with her father’s ashes. This gesture was her tribute to her father, who passed away from leukemia five years ago.

Sharing the story with her followers, Rosanna Pansino explained on Instagram, “His dying wish was to be grown into a cannabis plant and be smoked.” The emotional episode featured throwback photos of her and her dad, along with footage of her family adding his ashes to the soil. The cannabis plant was cultivated with the assistance of a local grower in California.

Did She Smoke It Alone?

In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Rosanna Pansino revealed that her sister and mother also participated but chose not to appear on the podcast. She captioned the clip, “Part of me died with my dad. Miss you, Papa Pizza.” Despite warnings from her YouTube representative about the potential algorithm suppression of such content, Pansino was determined to proceed, stating, “I don’t care if this one gets demonetized.”

Backlash and Clarifications

The move sparked mixed reactions online. While some applauded her for fulfilling her father’s wish, others criticized it as bizarre. Responding to critics, Pansino clarified, “I did not smoke my dad’s ashes directly. You should never smoke ash. My father’s ashes were mixed into soil where the cannabis plant was grown. I smoked the cannabis plant.”

Despite the backlash, Rosanna Pansino dedicated the episode to her late father, saying it was an intimate and heartfelt way to honor his memory. The episode, however, has reignited discussions about personal grieving rituals and their public reception.
