The Royal Challengers Bangalore secured their first title by defeating the Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets. Sophie Devine showcased her batting prowess, consistently finding boundaries, while Smriti Mandhana contributed steadily.

Despite Devine’s dismissal, Perry formed a crucial partnership with Mandhana, and later, Richa Ghosh guided the team to victory. RCB’s spinners impressed, limiting DC to 113 runs.

DC had a strong start but faltered after Sophie Molineux’s impactful over. Shreyanka Patil and Asha Sobhana also contributed with wickets, leading to DC’s batting collapse.

In the Women’s Premier League final, Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore competed for the trophy at Arun Jaitley Stadium. DC dominated the league stage, securing six wins and topping the table. RCB, finishing third, had to overcome Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator to reach their first final.

DC’s only losses in the league stage were to MI and UP Warriorz, while RCB won four matches and lost four, a significant improvement from their previous season’s performance.
