Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu and MP Charanjit Singh Channi had a verbal spat in the Lok Sabha on Thursday which led to adjournment of the session.
The chaos occurred during Channi’s statement when he recalled Ravneet Bittu’s late grandfather Beant Singh. In his statement he stated “Your grandfather was a martyr, but he died the day you left the Congress Party.”
After which Ravneet Singh Bittu got furious and led to a verbal spat, which led to adjournment of the session.
MP Raja Warring while leaving Parliament in a Interview stated “I would like to tell Bittu ji that he should tender an apology in the House for this. The one whose feet Bittu ji used to touch for blessings and he was a part of that party for 15 years, more than half of his family is still with the Congress. You went to BJP because you were losing elections. The kinds of words you have used today are not used for any woman. I condemn it. This was not the conduct of a minister, it was frustration. He did this to appease his masters.”
