The 14th Rose Show organized by the Horticulture Wing of Punjab University is scheduled to take place in Ambala until December 17, 2023. The inauguration was conducted by Professor R.C. Paul from the Rose Garden, Punjab University, Chandigarh, and Professor Renu Vig, Vice-Chancellor, Punjab University. The exhibition was presided over by Professor Rumina Sethi, Dean of University Instruction.
Distinguished officials, educators, and students from the university participated in the exhibition. In attendance were esteemed guests, including Professor Y.P. Verma, Registrar; Professor Jatinder Grover, Dean of Student Welfare; Professor Sukhbir Kaur, Professor Gurmeet Singh, and other colleagues from Punjab University. Also present were Professor Jagat Bhushan, Controller of Examinations; Professor Namita Gupta, Director of Public Relations; Dr. Suman Sumi, Deputy Dean, P.U.C.A.; M.S. Naini Gupta, Secretary, PUSA (NT); hostel wardens, and members of educational and non-educational organizations.This event saw active participation from members of various departments, non-teaching staff, students, and the general public, who praised and were greatly influenced by the displayed exhibitions. Additionally, the exhibition featured displays from Punjab University that won awards at the 36th Rose Show organized by the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation.
