At Neelam Foodland Junction in Khar, tragedy struck when a speeding car fatally collided with 27-year-old Virendra Singh, who was riding a bike. Despite immediate medical attention at a nearby government hospital, Singh succumbed to his injuries. The driver, Pramila Khumbachandani, has been arrested under IPC sections 279 and 304A for rash driving and causing death by negligence.

Vikhroli Collision:

In Vikhroli, a mini truck collided with a bike, resulting in the tragic death of a 29-year-old individual. The driver, Baliram Chhotulal Yadav, was promptly arrested by Vikhroli police, who have initiated legal proceedings under relevant IPC sections.

Sion Hospital Incident:

At Sion Hospital, an elderly woman named Zubaida Sheikh lost her life after being struck by a speeding car driven by a doctor. Sheikh, who was undergoing treatment for diabetes, tragically passed away shortly after being discharged from the hospital.

These distressing incidents highlight the escalating frequency of road accidents in Mumbai, driven largely by reckless driving practices.
