Describing the success of the Vibrant Gujarat – Vibrant Districts programme, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel proudly said that such a statewide event has resulted in a total of 2,590 MOUs so far. A provision for investment of Rs 25,147 crore has been made. Not only this, these potential investments will result in creation of more than 65 thousand employment opportunities.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel was addressing the Vibrant Gujarat-Vibrant Ahmedabad program organised in Ahmedabad from the post of president. Industries Minister Balwant Singh Rajput and Ahmedabad in-charge and Health Minister Hrishikesh Patel witnessed the occasion. In this program organised in Ahmedabad, 484 MoUs were signed for potential investment of Rs 12,571 crore in various sectors. As a result, about 17 thousand employment opportunities will be created in future.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said the progressive success of the Vibrant Summit, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2003, and the overwhelming response from global investors over two decades has made it a viable platform for knowledge sharing and networking.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has become the fifth largest economy in the world and this will help in taking it to the third position and making India a Vibrant Summit and Developed India by 2047. In order to spread the fruits of the success of Vibrant Gujarat Summit at the district level, the Chief Minister, while giving a broader role, said that with the inspiration of the Prime Minister, a new initiative of Vibrant Gujarat-Vibrant District has been started in this year’s Vibrant-2024.
In this sequence, the Chief Minister said that every district of the state has unique potential and strength. We are committed to giving it a global platform. He said that the aim of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Developed India @2047 is to prepare every district of Gujarat by contributing shoulder to shoulder in building a developed India from a developed Gujarat.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said that the sense of partnership and ownership among industrialists-investors at the district level makes the Vibrant Summit a viable platform for branding and bonding. Beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, MSMEs, Start Ups, SHGs, women entrepreneurs participate in such district level events. Not only this, exhibitions, credit linkage, seminars, one district one product market, B2B, B2C, B2G meetings are also organised.
The Chief Minister also said that the mantra of ‘One District One Product’ and ‘Vocal for Local’ given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi comes true through such district level meetings. He said that after the success of Vibrant Summit, big industries have come to Gujarat and a complete value chain and ecosystem is being created where relevant industries are available at the district level. Bhupendra Patel said the Vibrant District Summit investment will boost the pace and scale of industrial and economic development of Ahmedabad, which has been known as the leading industrial city of Gujarat and India since the beginning of the 20th century.
On this occasion, Health Minister Hrishikesh Patel said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the new India of the twenty-first century has emerged from Gujarat. He said, as a result of the grand vision of the Prime Minister, the Vibrant Gujarat Summit started in 2003 has been so successful that other states are also emulating it and inviting entrepreneurs from Gujarat to invest in their state.
Hrishikesh Patel said that many industrialists started from Gujarat and today have earned fame in the country and abroad. Being a policy driven state, Gujarat has become the first choice of investors from all over the world. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Gujarat’s industries are moving forward with geographical, social and cultural suitability.
The result of which is that today 21 lakh people are getting direct employment through industries. He said that now Micron company is also going to make semiconductor chips in Gujarat. Then new skill development courses have also been created to prepare the training staff according to the new technology. He called for efforts to make Gujarat a leader in India and the world.

Talking about the progress of Gujarat, the Minister said that today Gujarat is exporting 33% of the total exports of the entire country, while Gujarat is producing 18% of the total production. Apart from this, Gujarat is also on top in start ups. He said that Gujarat is the state providing maximum employment today.
