The Aam Aadmi Party claimed that there’s a plot against Arvind Kejriwal, alleging that efforts are being made to harm him while he’s in Tihar jail. Atishi, an AAP minister, expressed concerns over Kejriwal’s fluctuating blood sugar levels, accusing the jail authority of withholding insulin despite his requests.
She questioned the motive behind denying insulin to a diabetic patient like Kejriwal and accused the BJP of orchestrating a scheme to harm him. Atishi highlighted Kejriwal’s longstanding diabetes condition and his need for insulin to manage it. She criticised the Enforcement Directorate’s claims in court, stating that they were spreading falsehoods to hinder Kejriwal’s access to homemade food, essential for his diabetic condition.
Atishi also refuted allegations that Kejriwal was intentionally raising his blood sugar levels for medical bail, emphasizing his strict dietary regimen. She accused the ED and BJP of fabricating lies to disrupt Kejriwal’s access to proper medical care and nutrition in jail, raising concerns about his safety. Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in March related to the Delhi liquor policy case.
