Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed BJP workers after the party secured its third consecutive term in the Haryana assembly elections. He praised the leadership, attacked Congress, and discussed the impact of the elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
PM Modi credited the BJP’s success to the dedication of party workers, saying, “This victory in Haryana is the result of immense hard work by our workers and the leadership of Nadda ji and our Chief Minister.”
Modi highlighted Congress’ inability to secure consecutive terms, saying, “In 13 years, Congress has not been able to retain power in any state, last doing so in Assam in 2011.”
Modi emphasized the significance of BJP’s win, stating, “For the first time in Haryana’s history, a government has been elected for a third consecutive term.”
PM Modi accused Congress of trying to weaken the country by sowing division, claiming, “Congress is instigating different sections of society and igniting fires across the nation.”
He also discussed the support of farmers, saying, “Despite Congress’ attempts to instigate farmers, they stood with the BJP and the country.”
Modi accused Congress of being part of an international conspiracy, saying, “Many conspiracies are being hatched to weaken India’s democracy, with Congress and its allies playing a role.”
“Haryana has given a strong response to these conspiracies, and we must ensure that India stays on the path of development,” PM Modi asserted.
The Prime Minister praised the peaceful elections in Jammu and Kashmir, saying, “This is a victory for the Indian Constitution, and while the NC alliance won, BJP emerged as the biggest party in vote share.”
Modi accused Congress of oppressing Dalits and backward classes, saying, “For decades, they were denied basic rights, and Congress will never allow a Dalit or backward to become Prime Minister.”
The Prime Minister concluded by accusing Congress of defaming India’s institutions, saying, “They are misleading the people and trying to destroy the credibility of India’s democracy.”
