Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation in Ahmedabad. During the event at Narendra Modi Stadium, he received gifts and was joined by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. The celebrations featured cultural programs and drew farmers from various parts of the state.
As part of his visit, PM Modi unveiled development projects valued at over Rs 22,850 crore in districts like Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Banaskantha, Anand, Mahesana, Kachchh, Kheda, Bharuch, Tapi, Vadodara, Surat, Navsari, Panchmahal, Valsad, and Narmada. These projects spanned sectors such as road, rail, energy, health, internet connectivity, urban development, water supply, and tourism.
Additionally, he laid the foundation stone and inaugurated projects worth more than Rs 5,040 crore for Surat Municipal Corporation, Surat Urban Development Authority, and Dream City. This included the launch of 50 electric buses, the inauguration of various components of the Tapi Purification Project, and projects of DREAM City Limited.
PM Modi’s tour of the South Zone of Gujarat covered districts like Vadodara, Navsari, Bharuch, Tapi, Valsad, Panchmahal, Surat, Chhotaudepur, Dahod, and Mahisagar. Here, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development projects exceeding Rs 5,400 crore across 10 different departments.
