Pending traffic challans: Settle dues at National Lok Adalat on March 9

A request for payment of traffic challans has been made before the National Lok Adalat. The traffic police are enforcing traffic laws under the direction of Manpreet Singh Sudan, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Panchkula. Manpreet Singh Sudan, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Panchkula, noted that the National Lok Adalat is set to take place on March 9 at the District Court Panchkula. He makes a plea to the public, saying that those who have not paid their traffic fines or whose fines are still outstanding can pay the balance by making little installment payments during the National Lok Adalat.

ASP Traffic emphasized that any traffic violation, including driving without a seat belt, riding without a helmet, riding in a triple, driving on the wrong side of the road, parking improperly, jumping red lights, and more, will result in a challan, whether it is issued through CCTV or photo capture. In order to pay a reduced challan sum, those who have been punished for such offenses can show up at the Panchkula Lok Adalat on Saturday.

Additionally, ASP Traffic informed that failure to pay a pending challan may hinder the sale of the vehicle to another person. Some individuals may not be aware of outstanding challans, and to check the details of their vehicle, they can visit the website https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in/.
