During a campaign event in Maharashtra’s Pusad, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari collapsed on stage while addressing the audience. Fortunately, he regained consciousness and continued with his campaign activities.
Gadkari attributed his fainting spell to the intense heat during the rally. He reassured his well-wishers of his good health and expressed gratitude for their support. As a prominent figure in the BJP’s campaign efforts for both the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections of 2024, Gadkari has been actively participating in rallies nationwide.
He is competing for the Nagpur Lok Sabha seat against Congress’ Vikas Thakre, the current Nagpur West MLA. Despite facing stiff competition, Gadkari remains confident in his victory, stating that he is “101 per cent sure” of winning the election in his constituency.
