New footage from Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania reveals a figure running across the roof of AGR International just before the shooting occurred. The video, captured by James Copenhaver, who was severely injured in the attack, shows the figure, later identified as shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks, moving on the roof minutes before the gunfire began.

Watch Video:

The footage, recorded on July 13 at 6:08 pm, shows Crooks running and then taking position over the rally grounds while Trump was speaking on stage, unaware of the danger. The video ends before the shooting starts.

Crooks was eventually killed by Secret Service snipers after opening fire. Trump was injured, and firefighter Corey Comperatore was killed. Copenhaver, 74, and another attendee, David Dutch, 57, were both hit but are recovering.

Shooter’s Online Activity:

The FBI is investigating whether Crooks had posted antisemitic and violent content online. The agency is still trying to confirm if the account linked to these posts belongs to him. According to Deputy FBI Director Paul Abbate, the account made around 700 comments from 2019 to 2020, some of which were extreme and reflected antisemitic and anti-immigration views.

Security Lapses:

At a recent congressional hearing, Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe admitted he was “ashamed” of the security failures that allowed the shooting to happen. He expressed regret over the inadequate security on the roof, acknowledging it was a significant oversight.
