Jaipur’s Member of Parliament, Ramcharan Bohra, met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, in New Delhi and urged for the speedy completion of the North Ring Road from Jaipur-Agra National Highway to Jaipur-Delhi National Highway. He informed me that the land allocation process for this project is progressing.
MP Bohra requested Minister Gadkari to expedite the approval for the proposed Ring Road between Jaipur-Delhi in the middle of Jaipur-Kishangarh Highway and Jaipur-Kishangarh Highway. This, he emphasized, would reduce the traffic pressure on the major junctions (200 Feet Junction and 14 Number Junction) in Jaipur city and mitigate traffic pressure and road accidents. Minister Gadkari assured MP Bohra that Jaipur would soon receive the gift of the North Ring Road. MP Bohra expressed gratitude for the construction of the Jaipur Ring Road Southern Corridor, which is continuously reducing the traffic pressure in Pink City Jaipur. He mentioned that not only has the traffic pressure on Pink City Jaipur decreased, but also the incidents of road accidents within the city have reduced.
