Krystyna Pyszkova, representing the Czech Republic, has been crowned the winner of the 71st Miss World pageant. Reflecting on her victory, Krystyna expressed immense joy and gratitude, stating, “I can’t be happier as I am standing here to share my emotions. I am super excited. Miss World was something I was working on for so long.”
She also shared her dedication to her purpose project, describing it as a lifelong mission that she has been working on for years. “With the Miss World platform, I will be able to bring awareness to it. I will be able to help as many children as possible,” she added.
Krystyna, a Law student at Charles University in Prague, volunteers for the Sonta Foundation in Tanzania, teaching English to underprivileged children. She has a strong passion for music and art, having spent nine years in an art academy. One of her proudest achievements was opening an English school for underprivileged children in Tanzania.
The 71st Miss World pageant, held at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, featured contestants from over 110 countries. Yasmina Zaytoun of Lebanon was crowned the first runner-up.
The finale’s 12-judge panel included film producer Sajid Nadiadwala, actors Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh, news personality Rajat Sharma, social worker Amruta Fadnavis, Vineet Jain (MD of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Limited), Julia Morley (Chairperson and CEO of the Miss World Organization), Jamil Saidi (Strategic Partner & Host – Miss World India), and three former Miss Worlds, including India’s Manushi Chhillar.
The event, hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar and former Miss World Megan Young, featured performances by Shaan, Tony Kakkar, and Neha Kakkar. The official Instagram handle of Miss World announced Krystyna’s victory, welcoming her to the Miss World family.
