Adapting the trend of AI, Facebook parent company Meta Has launched its AI chatbot named Meta AI in India.
Earlier, Meta conducted trials of its AI chatbots with a segment of users in India.
This development also comes around the time when just last week, google has unveiled the mobile version of its AI chatbot Gemini in the country. Which supports nine Indian languages.
Meta AI is going to be available in English on various apps of the company, which include WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger. It is also going to be available on the recently unveiled website Meta.ai.
Meanwhile in April, Meta had also launched new version of Meta AI, which is backed by its new language model Llama 3. It has already launched this chatbot in various countries like United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
According to Meta’s chief executive Mark Zuckerberg, this AI assistant can be freely used.
‘With this new model, we believe that Meta AI is now the most intelligent AI assistant that you can freely use.’
In this AI App, users can now talk directly with the chatbot, as it functions as a general-purpose assistant, which can answer a wide range of questions.
It also allows users to generate text and images, can also summarize lengthy texts and assist users with writing tasks such as proofreading and editing.
But this app can also translate text from one language to another and for users. Besides Meta AI also has a creative flair, as it also has the ability to create stories and poems.
Users can also utilize the assistant for advice or to resolve their doubts. Now, the answers can be provided directly within existing personal and group chats on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger.
