After stepping back from their roles as senior working royals, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are now focused on their life in California, aiming to make their mark in the entertainment industry. Recently, their production company, Archewell Productions, announced two new nonfiction series in the “early stages” of production at Netflix, as reported by Deadline.
The first series, produced by Sony Pictures Television’s The Intellectual Property Corporation, will feature Meghan celebrating cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship. Leah Hariton from Selena + Chef will be the showrunner, with Michael Steed directing. Meghan and Chanel Pysnik will executive produce for Archewell Productions.
The second series will delve into the world of professional polo, primarily shot at the U.S. Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida. It will explore the sport’s grit and passion, showcasing players and the dedication required to compete at the highest level. Boardwalk Pictures will produce the series.
Harry and Meghan’s previous projects for Netflix include the intimate docuseries Harry & Meghan, released in December 2022.
